Changing education from the ground up

Education is all about trust - trust in the teacher. According to Jemer Evers a true change in education can only happen by ‘flipping the system’ - giving teachers the power and responsibility to build it. After all, they are the ones that can have the real impact by focusing on what they can do for a child, and not on what a child can do for a school. It boils down to government ministers asking, ‘what do my teachers need?’ and the teachers in turn asking, ‘what do my students need?’ All this can be driven by answering the question: ‘what is the purpose of education?’
