TEDxAmsterdamED Award

During the TEDxAmsterdamED event on the 31st of October 2018 three award finalists pitched their ideas. The audience voted and the winner is.... Aiman Hassani with the Pluswhats Talents Program. Congratulations Aiman, but also congratulations to Barbara and Youssef for creating such changing ideas and really innovating education.

The three Award finalists of 2018:

1. Barbara Winkelhuyzen, of the Klik the school network

Barbara is advocating for an online database for students, teachers, parents to use shared skills. KLIIK breaks down the walls between parents, teachers and kids/students and facilitates educational partnership.

2. Youssef El Bouhassani, of LeerLevels

Youssef is attempting to create a system that combines a graph based curriculum with Artificial Intelligence to make high quality tutoring accessible for all. He and Jonas Voorzanger developed LearnLevels ("LeerLevels" in Dutch), a system that combines a graph based curriculum with A.I. to make high quality tutoring accessible for all.

3. Aiman Hassani, of Pluswhats talents program

Led by Cristian Boscheri and Aiman Hassani, the pluswhat talents program is a full-time program where talented young creative people between 16 - 27 with a lack of professional skills and experience get a platform to build themselves. During a program of 14 weeks, young people work in teams and under the guidance of professional mentors to make high-quality (audio) visual productions.
